One-year-old Emma was trying solid foods for the first time when a blueberry slipped completely down her airway. Her mom, Priya, was right there — but back blows on her tiny back weren't moving it.
Priya grabbed the Mumany from the counter, attached the pediatric mask, and pulled. The blueberry came out on the first attempt. Emma coughed, cried, and was alert within 60 seconds.
"The pediatric attachment is what sold me," Priya said. "Standard first aid is designed for bigger kids and adults. Having something made for infants — that's what gave me the confidence to use it right away."
Emma is now happily eating blueberries (sliced, of course) and has already started solids with a little more supervision.
